Is this a good deal?

I figured I would start a topic like this:

Found Warre's 2003 VP for $30.45. Should I grab a few?

Make sure it's a 750 not a 375. If it is, it's a good deal. On winesearcher, there are a few merchants that have the 2003 Warre in the $30's, but most are around $50's or $60's.

What Stewart said, just make sure it's a 750, not a .375

It's the 750mL, I called the vendor. Are we allowed to put vendor names on here?

Oh, and I picked up 4 of these :)

From a UK perspective that is around where I would expect warres 2003 at auction to be.

Enjoy :)

Maybe I should read the rules again, but yes, do tell. I've posted many vendor names, usually happy tales, and a few not quite so. And of course many of us spread the word on good deals.

Oh, and while UK prices are interesting to those of us on this side of the pond, they are unfortunately not comparable

I purchased them from empirewine.com - I find they have great prices and the best is shipping to NYC is only $12 which is very hard to beat. They don't have a huge selection but it has quite a few goodies.

Here is there port selection - http://www.empirewine.com/type/port/
