Hi all!
Me and my family are planning to go to Madeira in February-March next year and stay for 4-5 weeks. Our kids are then 2,5 years and 9 months so it will be a family stay but definitely a time for winetouring as well!
Question; we were thinking of renting a villa or bigger apartment preferably close to Funchal, not neccessarily in Funchal though. Any suggestions on companies I can rely on instead of going directly to a private person? Your own experiences?
Thanks!
Best,
Niklas Jörgensen

Hi Nikolaj,
I have found VirtualTourist.com a great way to find places to stay and they have many great suggestions in and around the Funchal area.
Good luck and sorry I can not name specific places for you to check out but I am sure it won't be that hard to find.

Hi Roy,
No worries. I found a great place to stay just outside of Funchal. Actually an old Blandys place! 5 weeks in Madeira will be a trip to remember - not only for a Madeira fan as myself!

Niklas
N.B. Nikolaj sounds russian. Although Stockholm is close to Russia I think i will keep Niklas as surname
