For The Love Of Port

Hi Folks,

I know there was a thread on here a while ago talking about importing some lesser known ports but I am interested to find out if there are any existing wine clubs (wine of the month style) that specializes in Ports, or even Portuguese (and Spanish) wines in general. Haven't had much luck googling... This would be for delivery in the US (New Jersey to be exact).

Funny you mention it. I was speaking to a company about this today! It will take some more legal wrangling to see if this can be done. It is not currently happening in the USA. Even before this website was developed, the gent who did all of the tech work for me, brought this idea to me a year ago. It is not easy to make this happen in the USA due to the varous state laws. If you think they are crazy, go to Texas (a fine Port market of a state) and each county can either be "wet" or "dry" as nuts as that sounds. So lots of legal maneuvering.
