Today I got a new pricelist from the goverment owned monoploy. New is that it show how many bottles they have imported ( through private companies ).
Blandy's Bual 1958 120 bottles !!
D'Oliveiras Colheita Boal 1984 360 bottles
D'Oliveiras Colheita Sercial 1989 360 bottles
D'Oliveras Colheita Terrantez 1988 360 botttles ( the one I mistaked for vintage

)
Justino's Verdelho 1934 48 bottles !!
Cossart Gordon Sercial 1960 360 bottles !!
First of all these numbers are big for a country with a population of just 4.7 mil. Also suprised of the number of 1934 V. Do they still bottle them ?
Maybe they got an extra good price in these recession times which has hit Spain and Portugal hard. Here the recession just have been a minor hick-up.
Houseprices have passed the top in 2008 and unemplyment only 2.9 %..

Reidar,
That is quite a nice stash of Madeira and a really solid number of bottles. Too bad we can't see the pricing too, to better understand what that is like in Norway.

The prices aren't far off the RWC price list.
D'Oliveira Harvest 1983B - $95
D'Oliveira Harvest 1988T - $90
The 1987M was in the same range. Perhaps RWC will get the 1989S.

I heard about about the D'Oliveras Colheita Terrantez 1988 going for $100 from some cigar collectors in Norway. What a friggin' deal. They said it sold out in one day. Is that correct?

I have checked out the 1988 Colheita T today. It is bottled in 2009 and still called colheita !!?? Maybe later it will be vintage...?
But then it has been close to 21 years in cask ...
It is plentyful in stock, but the whole consignment ( nothing more is expected so far ) has been spread around the shops.. List here:

So now it is about 228 still in stock
