Bored Dough or is that 2009 Bordeaux?

I don't like to see any businesses fail or appellations hurt, not even the ones in France. Don't worry, just kidding. [foilhat.gif] Nonetheless, isn't it about time that prices were forced back to earth like sticking a pin in the hot air balloon responsible for Bordeaux pricing after more than a decade of gouging even in fair to modest vintages. Hopefully we'll see similar issues with Burgundy (no major signs of this yet) and even the CA Cults which may be reeling from slower mailing list sales, but they've not dropped their prices for the most part. Even auction action has been fairly brisk and with prices up, rather than down from a year ago at this time.
