TN: 1942 Barbeito Malvasia Quinta Mae Dos Homens Madeira

Bottled in 2001
Quite dark, caramel colored with a pale greenish rim. Aromas of dried fruit, spice cake, toffee, and a good dose of VA. Full and rich. Not real sweet for a malvasia but has good balance. Not the depth of a great pre-phylloxera madeira but a nice tipple.

Interesting wine, thanks for the note.

Do you post a pic of the bottle you can post?
