Madeira Basics - A Couple of Questions

I have a couple of questions that will just serve to show my ignorance about the history of Madeira.

Yesterday, at the Madeira sale at Christies (I will post a separate message about this) I noted what appeared to be two grape varieties that I have not come across before and a shipper I have not heard of. If anyone can tell me anything about these grape varieties or the shipper, I would be very grateful.

The grape varieties were EBH and Gran Cama de Lobos and the shipper was TTC Lomelino.

Many thanks,

Alex

I'm not sure what the EBH stands for, but Gran Cama de Lobos is a region on the southern side of the island. It was one of the very best areas... but I am not sure if it has any vineyards left. I recall reading that many vines were ripped up to plant banana trees (which gave two crops a year) and to build condos.
