of Barbeito VB. I had purchased a case of this wine in 500 ml bottles over the course of a year and gave a few away to friends who missed the offering. I have enjoyed this early and often. Far more Verdelho character than Boal in my opinion but still a very nice blend of the two. I enjoy the dry finish of great length and the rather light and sultry frame. A formal TN will be forthcoming. Wish I had more of this tucked away. $25 per bottle upon release, made this one of the great QPR bottlings that I've had this decade!

I still got one left...maybe i'll crack it the next time you come down.

Thanks Andy, but I suggest putting it to better use and sharing it with people who have never tried Madeira or are seeking more data points in their search to learn. It is a great bottle for exactly that, or late night drinking during the winter. Besides it is bad luck to kill the same "last" bottle, 2x.

Drank all mine up already. Probably should get somemore.
