Roy,

Thanks, once again, for sharing with us this new issue.

I've got a question; i've been recently offered some 1955 ports (Graham for GBP 2750 per case, Fonseca for GBP 2900 per case, and Taylor for GBP 2450 per case), and have no idea about them. Would You please help me with this?.

Thanks and Regards,?

Javier,

I hope that you willl actually sign up for the Forum, not as a guest ... but as a participant.

I recently opened a bottle of the Graham's 1955 and you can find the tasting note on this website in the Tasting Note section. It was very good, to say the least. I am not a big fan of the 1955 Taylor although it is a well made wine and still is enjoyable today. The 1955 Fonseca, is an amazing Vintage Port that is very hard to come by and one of the rarest of all wines from this vintage. I have had more Nacionals from '55 than Fonseca. It is one of the two best wines of the '55 vintage. All of these 3 are good though I prefer the Fonseca and Graham's to the Taylor, and also prefer the not listed, Cockburn's too.
