I must admit I've not had a single British-made wine before, at least that came from grapes grown in the UK. [shok.gif]

I thought British Winemakers was an oxymoron. :-)
But I'll admit ignorance here, as I can't recall ever having a wine grown and produced in the UK.

I'ev never had one from the UK either, but I would love to try some. The growing conditions would probably ideal for certain varietals.

I confess that I have never tasted a UK produced wine either but from what I have read and heard discussed the climate in parts of the south of England is now quite similar to that of northern France, thereby lending itself towards wine production. Time will tell.
