One of the joys of job lots is that brand names that most people have never heard of go for peanuts - you do get some rubbish as well, but they make useful Cricket club raffle prizes..

Got three bottles of this - apportioning the cost I reckon they cost just £5 each...

Driven cork. Decanted easily with a small amount of gritty sediment.

Decanted three hours ago

Quite pale, rather jammy, clinical bouquet - not overly pleasing.

Quite sharp on the palate - less beefy than the Cockburn '98 LBV

Respectable for an LBV, but not one to hunt down.

However, for the price I paid, this beats all on the QPR front :D

I had a great visit to Tedo and fun barrel tasting there. TNs in the upcoming newsletter. I discovered Q d Tedo before they had US Distribution back in 2003. Vincent Bouchard (yes of THAT family) is the owner and is somewhat involved. He also spends time with his Napa - based cooperage operation
