Pathe have changed their indexing of their film archive with the result that while Peter's link to the main website still works, the links to the individual films have all changed.

https://cutt.ly/1e45ZTN1 is the link to a 1968 travelogue, which refers to wine production and the wine trade 3m12s into the film. I found it fascinating that all the grapes in the film being picked, crushed and fermented were red grapes. I'm guessing Tinta Negra, but who knows for sure...

https://cutt.ly/ke45V7fp are the outtakes and cuttings from the travelogue, with no voice-over. Wine is featured at 3m25s with a visit to Blandy's Lodge in the centre of Funchal and again at 5m59s with scenes from harvest and carrying grapes into the winery.

I might look at more of the Pathe films later, when I have some time, they are fascinating.
