Now here's a new one on me. I have seen tons of Port advertisements in magazines, even a few in the Wall Street Journal and NY Times. But never a single one in the Seattle Times. Shocking! [shok.gif] [shok.gif]

So in today's paper I saw this:

signal confidence
PLAY BIN 27

There's a photo of a card table with a handsome, dapper man 30-something holding a Port glass a couple of inches from his mouth staring at this very attractive blonde seductress in a low cut dress with a glass of Port in front of her (of course it is supposed to be Bin no. 27. They are staring at one another, playing a hand of cards (poker?) while she sits with a big stack of chips and it looks like his are all in the pot. She's holding the cards to her lips as if waiting for him to decide what he's going to do. There's another couple, seemingly his woman and her man, behind the "players" looking on in a bar or possibly home with an exposed brick wall and shaded window in the background.

The rest of the ad reads:

Skill. Instinct. Luck. Indulge in a little
intrigue. Bin 27, Portugal's winning
Porto --- intensely seductive dark fruit
fortified with passion outplays bourbons,
gins, vodkas and cocktails. Anytime.

THE PERFECT PLAY

Then there's the Fonseca logo and a 3/4 bottle shot of the Fonseca Bin No. 27
