Newsletter to hit within 24 hours

This behemoth weighing in at well over 70 pages, is going to take you a couple of minutes to read. Sorry it is so long but there was a ton to report.

Roy,

please don't ever feel you have to apologise for writing us large volumes of stuff to read about port. If we wanted short articles, we wouldn't be subscribed to your newsletter.

Bring it on!

Actually 72 pages, but there is one large Madeira article in there too ... just to break up the Port-centric nature of the beast. Thanks guys, I'll shut up now.

Madeira? I'm sure I've read about that stuff.

Isn't that brown port which has been boiled?

I just finished a quick read-through of the non-subscriber version, and I found it informative and entertaining. Also, kudos to the Franceshina tasting panel for taking a bullet for the rest of us by sampling so many different versions. :D I have never tried this sandwich, but you can be sure I will when I make my first visit to Portugal.

Agreed! I loved this newsletter. The article on the Francesinha overload tour was a classic. Also, it's great to see that Quevedo now has a US importer. Congratulations Oscar!!

Oh the memories of that Francesinha tour....my stomach still hurts, but oh were some of them so good.

A major congratulations to Oscar and his family for getting their Ports into the USA. [yahoo.gif] [yahoo.gif]
