An Immediate Port Buying Op - HURRY!!!

Post by Roy Hersh »

Port 'til Sold Out

My friend Patrick at Atlantic Wine Company has 7+ cases of 2003 Graham's Vintage Port ready for you to mention :ftlop: and when you do ... the price will be $46. This offer is good until the remaining 90 bottles are gone. First come, first served:

Call 404-846-5770 to ensure you are not locked out on this deal. He is also taking emails at wineinfo@atlanticwineinc.com but the phone is your best bet for assurance of getting in while the quantities last.

Good luck, as obtaining a fantastic VP like this, delivered to your door for under $50 is a screaming deal.

My most recent TN:

2003 Graham Vintage Port
Rupert visits Seattle. I have had this at least a half dozen times since release and probably quite a few more than that. It is in the upper echelon of a very fine vintage year. The Graham's is very dark, actually fully opaque still. The nose is chock full of sweet cassis, cocoa powder, grapes and a spicy black pepper element which adds extra appeal. I can't wait to see the evolution of the aromatic profile in this beauty. The juice is dense and mouth filling with plenty of boysenberry and blackberry fruit and a rich texture that will only improve from here. A touch of heat on an otherwise exquisite finish shows the brash nature of this youngster. What's not to love? Prime drinking will be between a wide window of 2025–2040, although extended decanting will allow for plenty of drinking pleasure right now.

I have all the 2003 Graham's I currently need, so I won't be buying. I will, however, put in a plug for Atlantic as I got an equally impressive deal on 2003 Quinta do Noval from them. No affiliation other than a happy customer.

For those of you who bought in, congrats. You now own perfectly stored, ex-cellars bottles from possibly the best vintage of the decade, from a top tier producer at a fantastic price (for the USA). So good for those that were able to take advantage of this fine score! [cheers.gif]
