2007 Graham Vintage Port

Post by Mark D »

Opened 02/16/10

From a half bottle. Cork (smaller than usual) came out cleanly.

Poured into decanter, thick and opaque - even the tears have colour to them. Little sediment - a few thick chunks at the bottom.

Dark fruit nose, touch of herbs. In the mouth smooth, lovely black fruit, touch of mint, very good acidity and the tannins grip firmly. Powerful. This is delicious to drink right now, but I can't help thinking it's hiding something that the years should reveal.

Yes this is such a lovely Port and I agree that this will get even better as it matures.
