Tasted blind at a wine friend lunch. At first I thought it wa an Australian sticky . It had a rich, amber, brown color. Great brown sugar molasses nose. There was that slight nose of old wood varnish. Full luscious mouth feel. Very complex. It was very smooth lingering finish. This is so good , it could compete with older vintage madeiras.

I think that this was the wine that hooked me on madeira. I still prefer it to the other MWC labls. I haven't had it or even seen it for awhile. I think that I need to buy some. Unfortunately, Blandy's and Broadbent seem to hog the madeira shelfspace.

Broadbent is the best 10 year I have found so far. [shrug.gif]
