This section is for those who have basics questions about, or are new to, Port. There are no "dumb" questions here - just those wanting to learn more!

Would you like to speak Portuguese?

Post by Roy Hersh »

I have waited and waited for Rosetta Stone to create a Portuguese (CONTINENTAL .... NOT Brazilian) language program. Glenn and I got tired of it and have found a way for US all, to lobby them to add on Portuguese (Continental) to their lineup.

Please take a couple of moments to ask them to do so:

I truly hope that we get to see Rosetta Stone take our comments to heart and go into production of Continental Portuguese. I'd buy it in a second.

So if RS, does make the Portuguese version that we'd all love ... will Glenn get as much credit as Julian did for getting the IVDP to allow the sale of large format Port bottles? [foilhat.gif]

He would need to speak to the Rep from RS, fire off a ton of emails, letters, and do some door to door campaigning first

Haha... something tells me that I haven't been nearly as [strikethrough]big of a pain[/strikethrough] dedicated to the cause of European Portuguese as Julian was to getting large format bottles approved for sale!

Glenn,

Have you given up already? We are hoping you'll lead the charge. Make it happen and I have a bottle of 1977 Taylor OR Fonseca that you can choose from!

Afterall, I know you like challenging games. [dance2.gif]
