don't know if this belongs here,, I'm going on the " food" part, but please move to another place if more appropriate.
the government run monopoly here issues a free magazine a few times a year with new products, cocktail recipes and food recipes with suggested matching wines.
Anyway, this month's summer issue had a cocktail for the newly arrived Croft Pink..
It seems to be a spin on the Sangria theme...
Champgria (for 1 person)
3 leaves of fresh sage
60ml(2 oz) of Croft Pink
45ml (1.5 oz) of white cranberry juice
15ml (0.5 oz) strawberry liquor
3 blackberries
3 rasperies
3 ice cubes
180ml (6 oz) of club soda
smash 2 leaves of sage in a large wine glass,
add Croft Pink, juice and liquor
stir
add the fruit, ice and club soda
when serving garnish with the last fresh sage leaf
I haven't tried it but I do have sage in my garden and it isn't something we use much in our cooking so I might as well try this, on a hot day at happy hour 5-7 on the deck. I think I even have some Frangoli in the bar somewhere.
