Our Tours

The FTLOP group tours typically range in size from 8-12 guests, plus Roy Hersh and Mario Ferreira take part in guiding every tour. Our long-established relationships within the Port trade enable us to present singular and exclusive adventures for guests, with different destinations and wines on every trip surrounded by the overwhelming natural beauty and serenity of the Douro River Valley, the historic sibling cities of Vila Nova de Gaia and Oporto, and the volcanic terrain and sub-tropical weather of Madeira. Our unique point of difference is not only the high caliber of wines presented, but the wide range of authentic regional cuisine we experience and the esteemed individuals from the Port and Madeira trade who greet us with their warm welcome and wisdom at every destination.

It is our mission to exceed the grand expectations of our client’s year in and year out and keep our tours fresh by visiting different vineyard and restaurant venues each year. In order to achieve this, we literally tailor our itineraries to the wish list of our guests. Albeit it may sound backwards, we actually put our tours together … after … speaking with the guests who will be joining us.
