Coming in November, our Guest Corner host will be none other than Dan Lima Carbon, who is the Marketing Manager for all of the Symington Family Estates Port and Douro wine projects.

The FTLOP website’s Forum kicked off the new Guest Corner section this summer with renowned author and journalist, Richard Mayson who was the perfect choice to debut this new feature on the Forum. However, coming up with someone to follow in Richard’s footsteps was no easy task. Nevertheless, Bartholomew Broadbent did a splendid job and brought his spontaneous sense of humor and deep knowledge of Port, Madeira and Douro wines to the fore and his week in the spotlight was bright and filled with intuitive questions from the Forum’s many guests.

Coming in November, our Guest Corner host will be none other than Dan Lima Carbon, who is the Marketing Manager for all of the Symington Family Estates Port and Douro wine projects. As he recently was introduced in the newsletter feature, IN FOCUS a couple of months ago, and since he has occasionally posted on the FTLOP Forum, we thought it would be a brilliant idea to have him share his “insider’s” knowledge and discuss the world of Port from the inside out. Dan will spend a week responding to your posts between Monday, Nov. 2nd and Sunday, Nov. 8th 2009. We hope that you will bring more of your collective Port wisdom and ask Dan questions about anything related to Port or Douro wine.
