n/v Tuke Holdsworth Tawny Port - Bottled by Hunt, Constantino Vinhos.  From the back label: Tuke Holdsworth is an old and well established Port's brand belonging to Hunt, Roope, & Co..  Founded in 1735 the Company's origins centre round the old Dartmouth families of Newman, Roope, Holdsworth, Hunt and Teage who established trading links with Oporto as long ago as 1654.
Open about 24 hours, but not decanted just poured into a glass and left in my cellar.  Medium ruby centered with a bright tawny orange glow to the meniscus.  There's a slight oxidative note along with brandied bread pudding,  underbrush, and almonds.  A rich mouthfeel and surprising lushness to this basic Tawny that yields gentle flavors of vanilla bean, walnuts and dried apricot.  For the genre this is a solid offering and on a cold winter's night, this would do the trick.  It finishes with a bit of spirit and moderate length.
