The Quinta do Portal Tawny Ports always deliver and this 10 Year Old is no exception; quite a tasty little number. It is definitely in my top three Ports in this category. Light maple in color with a tawny meniscus, it features fragrant scents of almonds, dates and vanilla bean. Delicate but with enough weight to be taken seriously, I find the pronounced fig and walnut profile impressive, made more so by the elaborate acidity and silky texture. Sophisticated, seamless and seductive with a lingering praline nuance on the finish.
