What about food pairings?

Do you guys tend to drink VP with protiens? Or is it more of an after dinner drink - which is how i've always treated it?

andy, i ordered a couple bottles-figured I throw away $50.00 in plenty of ways, why not something that gets such praise and is so cheap.
