I can't say that prices are really going down in my country, neither in Belgium and Germany. Older (good) vintages are often much more expensive than new releases. When I look at the 1977 for instance I hardly can find one (Taylor, Fonseca, Graham, Dow) under 100 euro. The new 2003 has a pricerange ...

I tried the Noval 1991 a few months ago and IMO its ready to drink.
(but as I'm not a very experienced port - drinker I don't know if it will improve much)

Well Roy, I woudn't be to concerned about it. There are people who like to talk (write) and there are people who like to listen (read). Also I think that a lot of people ( me for instance) are not that much or long into Port. I don't have many information or TN's to share, on the other hand I do hav...

Storing my VP

This is one for me: As Roy already has noticed  I'm full of questions. For instance: how do you keep your VP's well over 30 year or more? I myself do have a small cellar where they lay down in their own closed cases. The temperature varies from about 10-12 degrees Celcius in wintertime to max....

Hello, Although I'm 45 I keep buying new arrivals and already bought some VP's on primeur. From these houses 6: Niepoort, Vesuvio, Gould Campbell. Croft 2 bt. I might buy some Noval and/or Q do Portal later on. I don't know if I will live long enough (I tend to become 100  ) to enjoy them all,...

Congratulations

Dear Roy,

Also my congratulations with your new site. It looks very good and professional.
I'm glad to have my vacation now, so I'll have lots of time reading all your reports and TN's.
Thank you for the 2003 report!

Best regards, Monique.
