'seeing' vintages printed on corks
I have several unlabelled and unembossed bottles of vintage port in my cellar which I can roughly guess the decade of by the shape and way the bottle is made. Sometimes when I shine a torch through the neck I can see the name of the port. Does anyone have any secrets as to which light source is best...

The rarest port (but not the most valuable by any means) in the world is the Taylors Quinta De Vargellas 1969. It was the year they had a landslide on the hill and very very little was made. Even at Taylors they don't have a bottle!
