Sogevinus closing all their locations to visitors

Post by Andy Velebil »

Just saw this from them. It is effective today with no exact end day listed other than what looks like a generic end of March (if my translation is correct). Though I’m sure that it will be longer. The first Port company I’ve seen to do so.

I’m sure more will follow.

I saw two or three notices yesterday from other wine companies in Portugal. In addition, many, many restaurants also announced closures, and others announced that they were still open, but would be cancelling events, spacing tables out, cleaning more often, etc.

(Shouldn't this topic be in the travel forum?)

I left Portugal a few days ago. Glad to be home!
