TN: Henriques & Henriques 20 Year Old Malvasia

Post by Mike K. »

No bottling date

Color - Extremely dark, like prune juice

Nose - Pepper, sweet dates, powdered sugar

Palate - Rich and thick, great mouth feel. Bold flavors of molasses, brown sugar, coffee. Perfect balance between powerful sweetness and acidity. Excellent, a real standout.

Finish - Lingering with a gentle subdued balance of sweet and acid

Well done, Mike and a very nice wine too. I am a big fan of the 20 year old H&H Madeiras and even some of their 15 year old bottlings offer outstanding QPR!
