Decanted 2 hours. 15% ABV listed on the label. The color is showing some slight bricking, but not as much as the 2004. Mostly soy on the nose. Pretty straight forward semi-dried cherries and some soy. Mostly resolved tannins, though a little does still pop up every so often as I've tasted this but it hasn't been consistent. There is noticeable spirit on the back palate and on the finish. A semi lengthy finish that is also just like the palate...straight forward. This doesn't show as advanced as the 2004 is. But this doesn't have the complexity it did in its youth and the 15% ABV is now showing as its entered its teenage years. I don't see this getting any better from here and I'd recommend enjoying them over the coming year or so.
