1970 Taylor Vintage Port

Post by Stewart T. »

Open 36 hours. Fennel and liquorice. Hint of strawberry on the nose. Slight heat on the approach. Very long finish. Mouth-coating suppleness. Very elegant with wonderful balance. 97 points. 1/5/08

My son added his own notes on the nose (not taste since he's only 10!)...

Cranberry/raspberry on the nose. A lighter wine. Sweetly crisp, with a smooth smell. A hint of caramel. A rich smell but still lighter all together. 95-98 points.
