I've now seen two stores recently that have .375's of this for $5.00, so I'm assuming there was a distributor close out to reduce inventory. Regardless, this is a great price for an everyday Port. K&L Wines (Hollywood store) has a large stock of these left (I grabbed a case already). If you don't live near Los Angeles, they can ship it to their other stores for pickup for free or they will ship to your house if the law allows.
Like I said a great price on a good bottle and I'm sure these won't last long.

I have often seen sales at $12 for 750 ml bottles of the Bin 27. Although $5 is a very good price, that small size ... meh. I know some people love 375s. They do have their place, I guess, but for a Port like this?

I'm confused Roy, that's still $2 cheaper (for two 1/2 bottles) than the best price you've seen this at for a full bottle. That's a big price difference for an already inexpensive Port. Maybe in WA you can get it on sale at $12, but I have rarely if ever seen it that cheap in Ca. A quick check of winesearcher shows the average price in the USA for a 1/2 bottle is $10-12. There are what appears to be some full bottles around the $12-13 price and a quick look showed all but one being 375's (one is a dodgy outfit here in L.A. that I tossed out). Otherwise the best full bottle price i could find was $14. So you're saying $4 cheaper (equivalent), or about 30% off, is a bad price
Regardless, how do you argue about a Port that is in this quality range for only $5 (or $10 for two .375's). Besides, as a 1/2 bottle this makes the perfect cellar defender or as an everyday house Port where someone doesn't have to worry about opening a full size bottle.
