Decant: None - Bottled 2007. Light honey colour, clear and sparkling. Honey and slight medicinal tones on the nose. Very delicate and attractive with walnuts also carried through. Very light impact into the mouth, but floods the tastbuds with flavours. A high toned spiritiness dominates over a huge level of acidity. Surprisingly (to me) this was not a sweet wine and had lots of bitter fruits in the mid-palate. A warm start to the aftertaste with some bitterness around cranberry fruit that lasts well. An interesting wine, but not one I would necessarily repeat. 89 points
