Decant: 5 hours - Pale rim, coloured but transparent centre. Nose is subdued with menthol over a cherry centre nose. Fat entry, tannins come though immediately before rich and sweet Christmas cake. The tannins also drive the aftertaste with a quick dry burst on the cheeks when you swallow and leave a long and lingering aftertaste that just grabs your mouth and doesn't let go. Magnificent port. 9/9. 96 points
