Decant: 8 hours - Deep rose centre, turning orange at the rim. Nose subdued, spirity and dusty. An initial impression in the mouth of sweet strawberry syrup and a wine that is still quite robust. Plenty of fruit and an acidic structure to enjoy. A slight lack of complexity and a bit too hot in the mid-palate but a great aftertaste with good length. Enjoyable today and unlikely to change significantly over the next 10 years. 4-4. 88 points
