2000 Ramos Pinto Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: Not Known - Nice red core running from the centre to the rim, opaque. Floral and elegant nose, smelling of greengages. Elegant and restrained palate, the fruit shows well but the acidity dominates; lots of red cherry and very soft tannins. A big aftertaste and a huge finish with a nice balance of tannin and fruit. There are signs that this might be closing down. 88 points
