TN: 2008 Poeira Douro red

Decanted 2 hrs. Deep dark red with a light rim. A lot of oak in the aroma in addition to something burnt and some spices. Full body. Relatively dry style. Powerful, but no real elegance. Medium length in aftertaste. Nice Douro red, but not at the level of f.ex. the 2005-vintage. 85 pts.
