Decanted 6 hours. The nose was chocked full of old leather, dried plums, licorice, and a slight waxy perfume. Very fragrant and hard to stop smelling it. Semi sweet texture immediately filled the mouth. Juicy plums, leather, and tea leafs up front. While later light spices and red fruits showed up. This was very expansive and full bodied, with some noticable tannins on the back end. The long rich finish was simply an extension of the body. Not fully at peak yet, though getting close, this still has a good life ahead of it. I fluctuated in my score, so I'll leave it be.
