WOTN was the 2007 GC VP--runner up was tied: the Pocas or the Porto Rocha.
John, do you know where your group picked up the Porta Rocha - local? (requesting this info after I vowed to drink more and buy less… )

A bunch of 2011's that I questioned my impressions early on and wanted to have another bunch of reference points and tasting notes to conclude my tastings. Some of these did not show well early on, others seemed to be too heavy with Touriga Nacional which gave them a funky aromatic profile and that's why I saved some extra bottles to revisit and will be able to combine my tasting impressions from both bottles.

Decanted and opened a 2007 Presidential LBV last night to enjoy with some home-made apple pie. Delicious (both pie and port).

Dow's 1991 from Magnum! Decanted 12 hours as I was going to a wedding. Still has a lot of fruit, looking very young for a 1991, fresh and complex. magnum does make a huge difference.
