I'm sure you are right that most if not all us couldn't tell which one is which when multiples are served
I'm cautiously confident that I could call most of them right, but I wouldn't bet on a 100% score!

Yes, that is why I mentioned it. It is something you and your Port friends can do at one of the upcoming, The Crusting Pipe meetings. [cheers.gif]

Here is a teaser...I've tasted the Niepoort Crusted, bottled in 2009 side by side with the 2007 bottling. The 2007 is a solid Port but the 2009 was a big step up. Don't think it's released yet, but I would recommend buying the 2009 bottling...crazy good for a non-VP.

Too bad finding it in the USA, (given the importer's motivation) will be next to impossible.
