"OK, so the weekend has past a little....who cares!"

Just what I was about to say!

Anyway, the 2000 Quinta do Infantado LBV, which I'm very impressed by. I haven't had any 2000 Vintage Ports yet, so this is actually the first 2000 I've tried, and if its all typical, then 2000 was truly superb, even in the LBV range.

I see that K&L has a 2000 Ramos Pinto LBV in stock and I've always liked their LBVs, so I'll definitely pick this one up. I'll post a side-by-side tasting once I have bottles of both, maybe next week.

Please do so as I can't find a TN on it and because I'm having it in a few weeks.

Tom, M&S are flogging Morgan 89 at around £25 a bottle and Morgan 70 at £55 so I suspect that is where AHB has been.

They also have the 91 at around 3 times the price of my usual supplier

I've opened a Madeira, I'll post on the appropriate forum after it's gotten some decanter time.

Fritz Haag kabinet and later on the Beerenauseles, both 06.
The kabinet was a joy to drink and refresh after the reds.

Quinta Nova, Quinta da Leda ans Chrysea were some nice surprises.
Crasto Maria Teresa and Touriga Nacional always on top. Crasto
vinhas velhas reserva not as good as 04, 03 and 01. Vale D. Maria (maybe the best up to now), Van Zeller "no name" and CV on top. Pintas and Meão too. Quinta da Romaneira was great...

I'm drinking my 1989 Morgan Brothers vintage port now. Jolly decent port, best 3 days after decanting (stored at cellar temperature) but overpriced at £25 a bottle.

Guilherme,

Which vintages of the Maria Teresa and Touriga Nacional.

I have a bottle of 2005 Pinalta to open this evening and my wife and I are saving the VP for the Oscar's tomorrow night. Haven't decided which, certainly something out of the ordinary.
