Wanna make a bet on how long it will remain under 3/4 empty once you have the space available to you?

I have seen friends build or buy cellars at home and they tend to fill at a disarmingly different pace compared to off site storage facilities.
Let's see... 3000 bottles ought to just about cover his Vesuvio collection over the next year... but where is he going to put is other Port?

Having now twice experienced the inadequately large refrigerator phenomenon, I give him a year until he's feeling the pinch and no more than 18 months before it is full. And that's probably a very generous guess considering where he lives!

I spent a good part of today working on pricing "issues" that will be finalized on Wed. As you all know, the importer changed for the USA and Quinta do Noval's new importer is great to work with. They are flexible and have very fine vision of the US wine marketplace.

Additionally, they clearly "get" Port and also are quite well versed with FTLOP, to say the least. They've done their homework and I can't wait for the grand finale tomorrow. Once I have this information, I can start to put the upcoming newsletter to bed over the next week.

There will be Ruby Reserve, LBV, Vintage, Nacional Vintage, some rocking deals on Tawny Ports and Colheitas going back over 8 decades. There will also be a handful of DOC Douro red wines. Did I mention there will also be offerings on not just Noval and Nacional, but Quinta da Romaneira?

Don't worry, I've still saved one great surprise for you all! :scholar:

My poor checkbook...

My poor fridge...

And given what's listed, I can't imagine what the surprise is going to be! How could it be better than that list?

I realize the newsletter is late in coming. There were a few details which have precluded finalizing the deal and it is now 100% complete. Please read the TERMS of the SALE very carefully. There are some states that the importer can not ship to. Of course, you must be aware of the legalities of interstate shipping, but you may have a friend or family member in another state take possession of your wines for you and then you will need to figure out how to get them to you.

That said, are you ready for some AMAZING "new" news?

Obviously, I have done my very best to negotiate the lowest possible prices on your behalf.
Nevertheless, now there is additionally a 10% discount on all orders of more than 12 bottles.

Now I can finish off the newsletter and have it in your hands later this week. Don't worry, the ordering won't being until June 15th and will continue through the 22nd. However, again, :scholar: I strongly advise you to CAREFULLY read the terms of the sales agreement.

ENJOY!!! :winepour:

There are many states that it is not possible to ship to due to interstate shipping laws. Of course, where there is a will there is a way. If when this is released, you find you are in a place that won't allow shipping ... email me for "assistance" ... as long as you are in the USA, of course. :|

I'm glad I live in a state that produces wine, and is home to the Brewer's Association. This leads to a lot of reciprocity agreements, and the BA does lots of campaigning to allow such things in general. Now I'll cross my fingers for this opPORTunity.

Obviously I am not suggesting anyone break laws, but there are ways to work "within the system" to achieve the end game. :salute:

There's just over 72 hours left to get your orders in. Still the vast majority of the bottles are still available.

Go for it now, or forever hold your piece or is that peace.

I got an email yesterday confirming my entire order (13 bottles). I wish I had the funds right now to buy 13 more, as I'm getting one of several bottles that I would love to get 2 or more of.

I guess I will start saving for the next one. The horror...
