My local Costco had 2009 Quinta do Portal Colheita Douro for $13. I grabbed a couple to give them a go this weekend at some point. If I like well enough it may be my new house wine.

Wow, never saw Portal at a Costco. How could you not buy a handful?

Been in Denmark buying a load of nice Douro reds, either because we cannot get them in Norway or because they are cheaper in Denmark.

18 Qd Manoella vinhas velhas 2009 (Wine & Soul)
12 Crasto Reserva 2011
6 Crasto Maria Teresa 2011
6 Crasto Touriga Nacional 2011
6 Crasto Tinta Roriz 2011
3 Niepoort Charme 2007

2010 Herdade do Esporão - Monte Velho 1.5L for $14.

Herdade do Esporão is quite well distributed in my area.

Is this just a basic wine or did you get a really good deal on a more upper end wine?

2011 Niepoort Twisted White. I was surprised to see this in a local shop, and had to pick up one to try.

That's their basic wine, but still a good value. From the same liquor store that had the 5L jug of Dao I post a few months ago (which they sell a lot of).

Esporao really shines at the Reserva level, both red and white.

Their olive oil is fantastic too at a fraction of the Italian big name prices.

That's a lot of wine. How many people will you need to open that?

As much wine as you want the spigot to pour. It comes in a box! They had about 4 different Portuguese wines in a box and about 6-7 5L plastic jugs which I've pictured here before. Another cool wine we picked up was 2000 Falua "Duas Castas", 2 for $10. 14 year old wine with a lot of life for $5 a bottle? That's hard to beat, no matter what region of the world. All are locally imported.

Wow, I've never seen Portuguese wine-in-a-box in my area of So. Cal.

The box wine ended up being fine for daily drinking. Had in decanter 3 hours and was actually a robust wine that could've sat in the decanter 4-5 hours no issues. Short finish and simple in style; you'd have no complaints all considered. First box wine I have tried that had sediment! First half had sediment, but now it's pouring clean. I thought there was a white wine available too.

Hopefully port will follow suit. I could picture a Messiah's, Borges, Barros, Cruz... tawny or ruby in a box in MA.
