OK, by the end of day 2 there was a total of 20 cases sold so far. Not a bad start. Best 2 day beginning of any past Buyer's Op to date. I am very pleased you folks are enjoying this one. :winepour:

Well when you can get a really solid VP for the price of an LBV, it's hard to pass up. Even when you don't have anywhere to store it.

On the plus side, my new fridge arrives this week. Too bad the stuff on the floor is already enough to fill it! [help.gif]

I think you need to invite people over to your "cellar depletion party" and we'll help you to make some room! [foilhat.gif]

Last I heard, about 30 cases were depleted from the importer in this deal. Congratulations to everyone who bought in, as each person who did, saved more than the entire cost of their subscription. I love when that happens. [yahoo.gif]

My only regret was not being able to do this for our friends in Canada and across Europe! [friends.gif]

Received mine and have shared some over the holidays. Wrote TN's on both the 1987 and 1997 and raised my score by 1 point on both of them. I was being very careful not to over hype the last time around. I can't wait to see other of your TN's to see what you think. Obviously this is not the place for them. But I wouldn't mind seeing some feedback here, for anybody who has tried either of the four vintages. :scholar:

I won't have my bottles until April. Weather is too risky for me.

I got my shipment, today. All arrived safe and intact. There are few greater pleasures than opening a shipment of crusty, dusty bottles of Port ... with the exception (of course) of opening and drinking them. This first one is being sacrificed this weekend.

Glad you guys received yours, were the bottles crusty and old looking? How were the capsules? Mine had all looked good and not crusty, no leakers etc.

Be interested in your feedback, but especially how they taste!

Mine were definitely old looking and crusty but no leakers. Really don't mind the old look, looks nice in my cellar.

Mine were all old looking, but no issues that I could tell. No leakers, corks appear to be in good shape. Just dirty, dusty bottles.
