this Dao quinta is owned by the same family that has Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo in the Douro. the winery is brand new and has a very interesting architecture.

Quinta Mendes Pereira Dao red, white, red reserva, encruzado and rose. All are outstanding wines. I especially mention the rose as it is only touriga nacional and is a serious wine unlike many fruity light only-in-summer rose wines.

this Dao quinta is owned by the same family that has Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo in the Douro. the winery is brand new and has a very interesting architecture.

I hope to visit Taboadella in the next few years.
