2x Graham's The Stone Terraces 2011

8 x 1994 Quinta do Vesuvio won at auction for $50 per bottle. To be split with John M.

There were some truly amazing prices in that auction. If I had storage space, I'd have picked up all of the 1970 Graham because it went for around $600 per case. $50 per bottle is crazy for a top-tier 1970 VP!

Great haul, Glenn! And yes, the prices were fantastic, solely based on Don's having purchased these puppies many decades ago, when there were a lot less people drinking Ports in the USA and the fact that he really wanted to move these once. 100% sold. His storage is impeccable, and outside of the fact that he had a direct connection with Whitwham's as a supplier, the rest of the story is all good for both buyers and seller. Trust me, he didn't need the money. But he wanted to alleviate some future stress on his wife, which was great for his family. Glad that FTLOPers, on both coasts and in the middle of the country were able to win so much of what was sold.
