1991 Dona Matilde Colheita Port -- by J.H. Andresen

Bottled in 2009
Found this at a local store, at $28.99 for a 375ml, not exactly cheap for a 1/2 bottle, but not too expensive either. A golden brown nose with scents of lavender, dried figs, and toffee. A good dose of acidity accentuates the dried nuts, mahogany, and figs. Yet a slightly clipped finish hurts the overall balance of this Colheita. Tasted over two days with consistent notes.

Sounds interesting. We should have an "oddball" virtual tasting theme some month. I think this would qualify.

I'm sure I could find a few things to fit into that category.

I had this in the last newsletter too, and I tasted this one with Glenn. Good to hear they're in the marketplace and even have made it down to So. CA. This was only BOTTLED by J.H. Andresen but really comes from Manuel A. Barros.
