Decant: 4½ hours - Warre. Deeper in colour than the Warre '66 alongside this glass. Some alcohol coming through on the nose carrying with it scents of fresh cut grass, coffee grindings and muscvado sugar. A quiet and gentle entry carresses the tongue before delivering redcurrants and cranberries sweetened with light syrup. A decent but not memorable (in the context of the wines shown with this) aftertaste. Still plenty of mileage for this very adequate port. 3/3. 88 points
