Decant: Just Opened - Not commercially available. Tawny colour, honey edge, slight green to the rim. Honeyed nose, strong and warm carrying the scent of almonds. Sweet and honeyed flavour, thick texture. Pure honey and brown sugar but a touch of alcohol in the mid-palate almost forgiven by the fruit still present. Balanced acidity giving a nice backbone. Demerara and brown sugar flavours carry through to the long finish. 92 points
