TN: 1987 Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage Port

Decant: Just Opened - More red than the '86, less evolved with plently of red still in the colour. Nose suffers from bottle stink and VA. Sweet into the mouth with leathery impact, feels like the fruit should come through but a cabbage overtone from the bottle stink obscures it. Length is good and pleasant, if vegetal from the bottle stink, before moving to chocolate. 90 points
