TN: 1938 Moreira Colheita Port

Decant: None - Bottled 2002. Clear glowing chestnut colour with a touch of green on the rim. Syrup and stewed raisins on the nose with hazlenuts and a bit of beef bouillion and some excess of spirit. Thick texture on entry, a touch of bitterness balanced by some muscvado sugar, tobacco and cedar wood. The aftertaste goes quickly. Overall this was disappointing when put into the context of the wines it was shown with. 85 points
